Love You Shaker Tag

Good Morning Blue Fans. Nat here with a quick shaker tag tutorial. I showed you a recent birthday shaker tag I made here using the Taylored Expressions confetti die. I was going to recreate that for you, but Carter insisted on using hearts since it's Valentines.  So, I had a little helper with this tag. Let's get started.

Supplies needed:

• 3 patterned papers (I used the "We Go Together" 6x6 collection from Pebbles. This is sold at The Little Blue House)
• 1 4x4 of white cardstock
• Tag Me, Too Reverse Confetti die (sold at LBH)
• Love Note Reverse Confetti die (sold at LBH)
• Donut You Know Reverse Confetti die (sold at LBH)
• 2.5" square of acetate (sold in 12x12 sheets at LBH)
• foam tape or pop dots
• glitter and sequins that coordinate with paper
• small sentiment stamp (I used the "Love This" stamp set here)
• Glossy Accents
• Twine
• One cute kid, optional

How To:

• Die cut the scalloped tag (from Tag Me, too) from the white cardstock and one patterned paper (this is the contrast scallop on the bottom of the tag)
• Place the large heart (from the Love Note die) in the center of the scalloped tag and cut again from another patterned paper

Told you I had a helper

• From the 3rd patterned paper, die cut the tag reinforcer (from the Tag Me, too set), the small heart (from the Love Note set) and the "heart sprinkles" (from the Donut You Know set)

• Lay the tag with the heart cut out on top of the white cardstock tag. With a pencil, lightly mark around the heart cutout. This will let you know the open area that will show for the shaker

• Adhere acetate square to the back of the heart cutout tag with Glossy Accents

• Trim scalloped end off of 1st patterned paper tag that was cut. Adhere to the bottom of the tag with heart cut out and adhere the tag reinforcer around the hole of heart tag

• Within the marked section on the white tag, adhere some confetti and some of the "heart sprinkles". This will allow some of the elements to remain in place when the tag is complete.

• Place pop dots around the heart on the back side of the heart tag. Make sure you keep the pop dots as close together as possible. Fill inside heart with leftover "heart sprinkles", sequins and glitter. Remove backing of pop dots.

• Place the white cardstock tag on top of the heart tag. Make sure the side you glued sprinkles and sequins is facing DOWN.
• Stamp your sentiment on the small heart and adhere to front of heart tag with pop dots
• Finish off the tag with some twine

I am so hooked on these shaker elements...be it a card, a tag, whatever. These are so fun and versatile.
